i always enjoyed the thought of winter.. pretty snowflakes, rosy cheeks, cool jackets, knee high boots.... and all that kinda things you see on TV... but.. the not-so-nice things that happen during winter they do not show :P like how you freeze your butt off when coming out of the shower, the fact that you cant wear slippers as much as you would like to (unless you want icesicle toes) and the dry skin you get from the freezing weather..

anyways, i am glad other things are getting better, made severak nice friends, and not too much of a culture shock so i guess i am alright :]

caught the matrix reloaded last night.. it was free seating.. *nightmare* the queue to get in was longer than the ones i see outside mcdonalds during the hello kitty craze.. but nevertheless, manage to get good seats with a decent view :)

it was an alright show, 7/10, the three points lost coz of the slightly limp script.. but i am a sucker for fighting scenes especially when done with a straight face.. heh..

he is sooooo into these shoes man :P its scary..heh..

my friend jasmine left for home.. hope she will be back in july as promised ;)

she and her parents (who stayed in a service appartment while they were here) were so cute...before they left, they filled up this box of stuff that they could not finish using and gave them to us. here is a list of what was in the box.. heh..:

- three grapefruits
- yoghurt
- 20 tea bags
- alot (and i mean a whole lot) of small packets of sugar (suspect it was taken from the appartment)
- brocoli
- peanut butter
- can of milo
- three magazines
- two phone cards
- soya sauce
- oyster sauce
- tobasco sauce
- eggs
- jam
- butter
- an esprit voucher
- hangers
- fork and spoon

yes the box was totally heavy :] heh..

but it was so nice of them.. dont you think?

caught a midnight movie, 'anger management', yesterday and it was pretty good :] ended my movie-drought period ..

before the show, cal and i went to the ladies room... we had a rather strange encounter.. while i was waiting for her in the wash basin area, i could hear some noises from the loo area.. the kinda noise emitted when someone cant get enough toilet paper and constantly keeps trying? (if you know what i mean.) anyways, i didnt think much about it but when cal came out, she said 'did you hear that' .. it was when i realised the noise went on for quite some time and it seemed that there wasnt anyone in the cubicles ..
my hair started to stand :P we looked at each other for a second and dashed for the door...

heh..

after the movie, on the way back, we decided to believe that there was someone in the toilet having difficulty with the roll.. not something else..

nevertheless, no more loo trips alone for me >.<
