overslept today and its not the five-minutes-late kind of thing. i usually have to wake up at 645am and take the 715am train but today, i slept till 730am :P
so i had no choice but to take a cab to work and only managed to get one at 8..
taking cabs nowadays is kind of different. in the past, i could enjoy my ride quietly and peacefully..
but now, cab drivers are getting quite cheesy >:i
there was this one time i had to take a cab to collect some documents for my boss, the cab driver then presumed that i was 'very free' (being out during office hours) and if i "need company"! i mean ..how gross can that be.. a man that is old enough to be your uncle saying that.. *cringe*
today, this cab driver decided that since he was driving 'extra fast' i should treat him breakfast! whaaat is this man.. so all he got from me is a cold glare and a "no money!" from me. but i think the stare was too cold and it froze his brain because he did not get the sarcasm. he asked again.. three more times.

dont really have much planned for the weekend but i sure hope to bring my mum somewhere for a meal or something.. feel that i should really spend more time with her since i will be leaving for melbie really soon :,(

if you've got tough and dull skin and need a good exfoliating, go for this one. salt and scrub dissolves dead skin and leaves it smooth. however if you have sensitive skin, dont scrub too hard or try to avoid product all together (opt for a sugar scrub instead). the smell of this scrub may not be too pleasant for some to be warned! best to take a whiff and try out the scrub at your nearest body shop outlet before buying..
the sales person may ask you to purchase a glove like 'scrubber' to go along with it but i feel that it may be a little too much :] the scrub itself is pretty alright alone.

was reading Today newspaper and spotted a 'dedication' like notice from a guy to a gal..its an appology-love dedication-proposal kind of thing..
this guy must have dont somethin really bad to have to publish this (his picture included), taking up 1/4 of the page..
however, lets hope that the recipient is interested in sports and manages to even get his message
i say this because its printed on the sports section :P

the long weekend was a nice break. looking on the brighter side, this week will end in like four days instead of five ;]

saturday was quite a lazy one..it rained cats and dogs so could not really go outside to have much done.
was playing my jewel cd and singing to the songs (almost all the alternate ones) and now i have a little of a sore throat.. ahaha.. thats the price of trying to be a singer when i dont have the material.. :[

went to zouk on sunday to check out seb fontaine
the music was not bad but there were so many people that it was kinda hard to stay in one spot for too long as people kept walking pass us and plonking themselves right infront of us :P now i know the reason for some people dancing violently! the get these people away from them and their space..ahahaha..
left quite early as the passive smoking was getting too much for my liking *pinch nose* smoking + clubbing.. i still dont see a rational connection..

talking about 'rational connections' i finally have enough evidence to prove that most men find their partners more attractive if there is some form of 'competition'..the nature of territorial trespassing i guess.

monday was like a house hopping day (but no..i am not indian celebrating deepavali..) went to denny's place just to nose around their steamboat preparation after that, went to tavis's uncle's place. when i stepped into the flat, i was greeted with a most dainty 'mew'
but i found out that polly (we are now on a first name basis ;D) is anything but dainty. and she loves to play with my long hair! *makes mental note when i see poptart's trixie*

i have never really defined myself as strict cat/ dog lover..maybe thats coz i like them both ;)
if only the former doesnt bite and scratch..
