ladies, think you've got what it takes?
well, its that time of the year again where mediacorp gathers a bevy of beauties and display them on the stage, print ads, websites and newspapers :)
have you ever heard someone say "i see girls on the street that are prettier" when they view the contestents? what does it take for a girl to want to join a pagent? the prize money? the 'experience'? the route-to-stardom thoughts?
well...whatever it is, i think its really brave of them just to complete the application form and hand it in...knowing whats in store for them is includes public scrutiny, praise/ criticism, pressure to look good 24/7 etc...

there are girls and boys out there doing webpages at the age of 12 (and below). dont you think its amazing?

the only thing i knew what to do on a computer at 12 was what i learnt in school and CAL classes :P

is there such a fine line between being shy and being aloof?

woke up really early on sunday and headed to cafe cartel for a hearty breakfast! the fish & chips was kinda on the oily side (think they did not take much time in draining the fishie before serving) so its best to dab it with the serviette before eating it..
my favourite is their curry sauce! thinking of it makes my mouth water :P~~

before breakfast, we walked pass by this shop which sells collectable toys and stuff, it was then we were told that the designer for a collectable - Qee, was in the store and will autograph the little plastic fellas for you :)

so i got this little fella and had the designer personalize it ;) initially i thought it looked kinda creepy.. funny kind of creepy..hee.. what do you think?

two rooms was quite a disapointment.. besides the free flow of house pours (limited selection), there was pretty much nothing..
the music was .. err.. very 90's and there was no dance floor so not much entertainment through the night.. except for some ang moh woman who thought we were looking at her so she was obviously flattered as she danced and sang to the music even louder :P there was also this girl who wore.. hmm.. close to nothing ;)) at least the guys were distracted enough to say the night was passable.. guys ;)))
