went to have a mini drinking session with pretty carrie and friends ;) the aussies really know how to make the most of the music played.. think jiving to dancing queen.. ahahah.. but some of the other music played were cool... i thought it was an ok place.. at least its not sleazy and dodgy..

the word 'love' is so strange.. for some.. there is not specific meaning.. to others, its just a means of expression in that moment in time.. for that split second...what do you mean when you say it?

last year, i gave my mum 50 roses on her 50th birthday.. each stalk to represent each wonderful year she has been on this earth.. maybe i should have given her 22 roses for the number of years she had put up with me.. ahaha.. idea..

its my mum's birthday.. and i cant be with her this year.. no pictures taken together.. no singing 'happy birthday to you' at the top of my voice (as there is only my sis and i to make as much merry as possible.. ahaha..)..no mum's birthday cake to eat.. no mum to hug the at 12 midnight.. waking her up to make sure i am the first to wish her happy birthday.. the webcam will have to do this year..

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they drew. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work.

As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was?

The girl replied, "I'm drawing God."

The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like."

Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute."


reminds me why i love children.. i enjoyed myself so much when i worked in kinderland ..the magical hug of a little child and their innocent questions and big inquisitive eyes ;) and of course, holding their hands to the toilet for a pee.. ..and making sure they wash their hands after..heh

one day while minding my own business during a family dinner, an aunty sitting across the table roped me into her conversation and said "...but she doesn’t look chinese leh.. she looks ..hmm.. let me see.. pilipino! yah, thats it..!"

*sinks in seat*

a nudge from the person beside me just made things worse.. "eh.. you look like a 'maria' issit?"

no offence but i am a chinese and would happy to look like one thank you :P

I guess I have my dad to thank as he looks a little dark for a chinese so... THAT'S where I got those genes..

Oh well .. lucky I have my mum's genes to depend on to look as chinese as I can.. heh ;D

was doing the laundry this morning and when i looked up to the sky, saw quite a masterpiece.. the pictures i believe does no justice to what i saw.. clouds on fire? some symbolic meaning? something 'up there' is brewing?
