i did a presentation on virtual management and a question asked was:

'would you prefer to receive an online card or that of a physical card handwritten by someone..'

this girl answered in quite a unique way..

"when you receive that mailed card, not only has the person made the extra effort in writing and posting the card, you are actually touching something that he/she touched..althought you two may be million miles apart.."

went out for a drink with cal and mr.T last night.. decided to try out long island tea as recommended by a nice friend and my sister but it turned out that the bartender looked too blur to understand what i wanted...it tasted more like bourbon coke man.. *cheated*

i am currently addicted to rice vermicelli (dry) at the viet place 'mee kong'.. went there on wed. and i actually didnt know what i ordered, just pointing to some char grilled dish on the menu but it turned out very nice ;D i went to eat that again today.. ahaha..

its like the one you ate that day but the chicken is a little different ;D go try!

shopping here is a killer man.. the average (nice) top is about $50+ and i am so used to paying lesser than that in singpaore :P

my mum is so worried that i dont have enough thick clothing that every time we chat, she would surely mention 'have enough clothes or not.. dont have must go and buy ah..'

nagging transcends time zones and all boarders.. ahaha.. :]

its mr. T's birthday on friday :) cheeky me could not resist to write this in fine print... ;P

but he was nice enough to smile and say 'of course' :]

getting tired easily these few days.. issit the stress of more assignements due? the weather only good for sleeping or do i just need to go to the gym more? hmm.. or maybe its a flu on its way.. better take more vit. C..

i dont exactly enjoy going to the gym.. no.. the working out is fine, i like it actually, having all that blood circulation, it gives my cheeks a nice pink too.. heh.. but its the toilet experience that i dont quite enjoy.. you see..in an ang moh country.. women wear clothes out of formality towards the opposite sex. once they are in the 'safety' of the ladies room, they seem to happily and openly strut their stuff in front of everyone.. and when i say stuff, i mean all their stuff.. :P

lucky i dont wear my specs so everything from a distance is blury XP heh..

met a good friend of mine, jasmine, today :] she came back to melb for her convocation (lucky gal!) and shopping (of coz..ahaha)

nice to meet up with her :) reminds me of my days in poly.. doing projects, talking about this and that.. and the funny thing is that shes the only friend i know that likes soggy french fries! ahahah.. so we decided that when we eat at fastfood outlets, we can never share a pack of fries coz we'd snatch the soggy ones fast! ha..

little tweety birds seem to like to pose for me these couple of days.. ha.. i like..

every morning, i open my window and there would be a flock of pigeons flying in sync.. something like doing a ballet in the sky.. very pretty sight to make me smile although the mornings can get dreary..
